Natural Organic Captive Born/Bred
The common Porcellio laevis is gray, but they can be found in a large variety of color morphs, like this Orange variety. They are believed to have originated in England and are known to inhabit damp areas rich with compost or leaf litter. P. Laevis are prolific breeders once established and raising colonies can be highly rewarding. Laevis grow to be surprisingly large for cleaners and thus make great additions to large terrariums housing large reptiles from tegus to pythons. Porcellio laevis can move extremely fast when startled giving them the nickname "swift woodlouse."
