Changing/Cancelling
Once an order has been placed, Reptanicals cannot guarantee it can be altered. If you wish to change an order email admin@reptanicals.com immediately. Requests to cancel, change, or add to a LIVE order must be made within 24 hours of the placement of the (first) order. While we will do our best to accommodate these requests, sometimes we simply are not able to get your order changed before it is packed and shipped. We are unable to alter orders that have already shipped.
Live orders process within 24 hours of being placed. LIVE orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours of purchase. Tracking for live orders typically update 2-3 business days after the order has been processed.
Combining Orders
All Live Animals purchased at the same time will be combined into a single order. Live Animals* & Isopods ship Priority or Express Mail Mon-Wed. *Springtails ship First Class
Dry Goods purchased with Live Animals are combined at Reptanicals discretion based on weight/safety of the live animals.
In some cases it is necessary to ship heavier Dry Goods separately from Live orders. Shipping method shown when combining Dry Goods and Live Animals will show the slowest rate - that of the dry goods. In MOST circumstances Dry Goods are combined with the Live orders and arrive at a faster rate than shown at checkout.
If you wish to combine two orders placed separately (that have yet to ship), or wish to add a product to an existing order email admin@reptanicals.com immediately.
Live Animal Shipping Policy
Live Arrival Guaranteed in destination temperatures 40°F - 99°F**
All live animals ship via USPS Priority or Express mail (Monday-Wednesday).
**LAG requires animals to be HELD at the POST OFFICE for pick up if the overnight lows in your area are below 45 degrees, or daytime temp exceeds 95*F.
We reserve the right to mark any live order "HOLD at Post" when we feel that it is in the best interest of the animals.
Dead on Arrival (DOA)
In the event of DOA we will happily replace your order. To qualify for a replacement the order must have been DOA for a reason other than carrier service fault. In the case of carrier mishandling, refunds will be issued via the carrier website (i.e USPS.com or UPS.com) and a new order would need to be placed. If your order arrives DOA for any reason other than carrier mishandling email admin@reptanicals.com for further instructions. We will need photos of your shipping box and label and a photo of the deceased animal on a white piece of paper. In some cases we may require you to return the original shipment (at your cost). All replacements are marked "HOLD at Post Office."
Partial DOA (Isopods/Feeders): All order are packed overcounted by at least 10% to account for any minor DOAs during travel. There are no replacements for orders if number of isopods/feeders lost is covered by overcount. (ie. 50ct order shipped with 60 isopods and 5 perished in shipping = no replacement). For DOAs exceeding overcount, partial replacements will be given to cover any lost isopods from the original order count. Replacements are also packed overcounted. All replacements are marked "HOLD at Post Office."
WE CANNOT SHIP LIVE GOODS (insects, plants) TO HAWAII,
FLORIDA, LOUISIANNA & ALASKA have species restrictions.
Dry Goods Shipping Schedule
Dry Goods are any products we sell that are not living. This includes first aid products, habitat supplies, substrates, lighting, Reptanicals Feast products, etc. Dry Goods ship within 1-2 business days, Monday-Friday. Depending on the shipping method, orders can take 2-7 business days to arrive once shipped. Orders that qualify for free shipping can be any method (standard-express) and is at the discretion of Reptanicals (based on the weight of package, location, etc.). Free shipping is only available to customers in areas within the contiguous US. For orders to Alaska & Hawaii, shipping is based on distance and weight of total order. Wholesale Shipping
WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FREE SHIPPING ON DRY GOODS
Recurring monthly auto-ship orders for retail locations are eligible for up to 15% off regular wholesale pricing. Inquire at admin@reptanicals.com.
Expo Pick-up
Wholesale orders can also be picked up at a trade show or expo at which we're vending, if previously arranged.

International Shipping
We do not ship insects, plants, or any animals outside of the USA.
For international orders placed (dry goods only), there may be extra charges such as taxes, duties, brokerage fees, etc. that your government/customs will assess on these packages. These charges change and are different for every country. These extra charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
